Wild Hearts Publishing stands behind the quality of every editorial report we deliver. If you are not satisfied with your report, you may request a full refund within 30 days of delivery — no hoops, no arguments.

What qualifies for a refund
A refund is warranted when the editorial report itself falls short of the standard we promise. Qualifying reasons include:
- The report feels generic — it could apply to any manuscript, not yours specifically
- The report contains factually incorrect statements about your manuscript (plot points, character names, events that do not appear in your submitted work)
- The report misses major craft issues that are clearly present in the submitted material
What does not qualify for a refund
The following are not grounds for a refund:
- You changed your mind about submitting after receiving the report
- You have already incorporated the feedback and no longer need the report
- You disagree with the editorial opinion expressed — editorial feedback is inherently interpretive, and subjective disagreement with a valid perspective does not constitute a defective report
How to request a refund
Email us at hello@wildheartspublishing.com.au within 30 days of receiving your report. Please include:
- Your order reference number
- A clear description of what you found unsatisfactory about the report
We may ask a brief follow-up question before processing. We will not argue with you — our aim is to resolve your concern quickly and fairly.
Processing time
Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days and returned to the original payment method. Stripe handles all payment processing on behalf of Wild Hearts Publishing. Refunds return to the card or account used at the time of purchase. Processing times after we issue the refund depend on your bank or card provider.
Single Editor Review ($20)
The same refund policy applies to the $20 Single Editor Review (Quick Read). If your Quick Read report feels generic, contains inaccuracies about your submitted chapter, or misses obvious craft issues, you are entitled to a full refund under the same 30-day window and process described above.
Payment processing
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Wild Hearts Publishing does not store your card details. Refunds are issued through Stripe and returned to your original card or payment method.
