1. What the service provides

Wild Hearts Publishing provides editorial review services and, where purchased, self-publishing services including formatting, cover design, ISBN assignment, and distribution. Our editorial reviews are professional assessments of your manuscript — they are not a guarantee of publication, nor do they constitute literary agent representation. A positive review from Wild Hearts Publishing does not imply that any third-party publisher, agent, or retailer will accept or stock your work.

2. Intellectual property & rights

Your manuscript belongs to you. Entirely. Wild Hearts Publishing claims no rights — intellectual property, moral rights, publishing rights, adaptation rights, or any other rights — over any manuscript submitted to our platform, or over any work subsequently published through our services. Your ISBN, your royalties, your cover art, your book: yours. We do not take a cut of your sales. We do not retain any licence to reproduce, distribute, or display your work.

3. AI disclosure

Our editorial reviews are generated by AI systems — specifically configured AI editors named Hartley, Oliver, Vera, and Marcus. Each editor is trained to assess a distinct dimension of your manuscript: craft, structure, market positioning, and reader experience respectively. All reports are quality-checked before delivery. We do not pretend our editors are human, and we never will.

4. No-training covenant

We do not use submitted manuscripts to train AI models. Full stop. Your manuscript is processed solely to generate your editorial report. It is not used to improve, fine-tune, or retrain any AI system — ours or any third party's. Manuscripts are deleted from our systems within 90 days of report delivery.

5. Acceptable use

You may not submit a manuscript that misrepresents AI-generated content as entirely human-written when you intend to submit it to publishers or agents who require human authorship. This restriction exists to protect Wild Hearts Publishing's integrity with the publishing industry and to ensure our editorial assessments are applied to work that authors genuinely intend to represent honestly. We are not opposed to AI-assisted writing — but we will not be party to misrepresentation.

6. Payment

All payments are processed via Stripe. Fees are charged at the time of submission. Payments are non-refundable except as provided in our Refund Policy.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from your use of Wild Hearts Publishing services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
