No. Wild Hearts Publishing is a fee-for-service platform — we charge for specific professional services and take no ownership of your work. You retain 100% of your rights and the majority of your royalties. Vanity presses typically take rights or royalty percentages in addition to fees.
Royalties depend on your list price and the platform. On Amazon KDP (ebooks), royalties are 70% for books priced $2.99–$9.99 USD. For print via IngramSpark, your royalty is: list price minus trade discount minus print cost — typically $4–$8 per copy on a standard novel priced at $24.99 AUD. Wild Hearts takes no royalty percentage.
Yes, at any time. All files (formatted interior, cover, EPUB), reports, and distribution relationships are yours. There are no lock-in contracts, ongoing fees, or obligations after the project is delivered.
